We have a variety of STALLS already booked, such as various local charities; Bristol Streetcar; gardening sundries and plants; The Human Juke Box; Bike Tagging (bring along your bike); Portrait sketching; Ninetree Cider with apple juice and cider for sale ( remember to bring your surplus apples to be turned into juice); books and local arts and crafts – but the more we have the better, so if you are a local business and would like a showcase to promote your wares or services, or if you would like a place to sell off your surplus household items or BRIC A BRAC please do contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
We have some SIDESHOWS and GAMES planned including old favourites such as Whack the Rat and – hopefully – Three legged Races and Egg and Spoon Races, for old and young. Kingsdown Sports Centre will be there with more games. Our information board will give times of all these things.
New this year too is a SNAIL RACE. Look out in the next three weeks for any speedy snails in your garden or on your favourite plants. Sometimes the smallest are also the quickest. Bring them along on the day to win a prize of a pot of lettuces.
Also, we are suggesting at the end of the racing,
A SNAIL PARADE. a display of maybe the ‘not so fast’ snails, painted and glamourised and competing for a pot of tasty flowers.
To sustain you we have the BBQ Bishopston sausages; our ever popular Posh Teas; ice creams and Soft Fruit Cocktails. While taking Tea you might like to also make up the most pertinent LIMERICK and win yourself a PRIZE ! Book Token.
