Heaven on Earth & Death Workshop

Paula Rainey Crofts, of Heaven on Earth Bespoke Funerals, Kingsdown, Bristol was nominated for two categories at this year’s prestigious Good Funeral Awards – Green Funeral Director of the Year and Lifetime Achievement, and won the latter.

William Wainman, of Ecoffins who sponsored the award, said “Heaven on Earth” have been trailblazers and innovators in the industry since 1995 and have done much to promote both green and alternative funerals. Hundreds of families have benefited from the flexibility they have shown and they have helped to bring much needed change to the industry. We salute them for their tireless efforts.”

Paula said “I am delighted to have been nominated for both awards, and feel honoured to have actually won one of them!  It is wonderful to get recognition for a job that I love and get great satisfaction from – when my partner Simon Dorgan and I first opened Heaven on Earth we had no idea that we were leading the way for people who wanted to be more involved in planning relevant celebrations of the lives of family and friends they have lost”.

Paula is organising a ‘Death Workshop’ for October 27th ( see details below ) which might be of  interest, so please pass on this information.
